Ultrapure Water (UPW) refers to water with extremely low conductivity and virtually no impurities, commonly used in industries with extremely high water quality requirements, such as semiconductor manufacturing, photovoltaics, power generation, pharmaceuticals, and biological laboratories.
The objectives of ultrapure water filtration include: removing particles (>0.1 μm), eliminating microorganisms, organic substances, and metal ions, reducing TOC (Total Organic Carbon), and maintaining ultra-low conductivity (typically < 0.056 μS/cm).
