The AerFree degassing membrane removes dissolved gases including carbon dioxide, oxygen and ammonia nitrogen from liquids via the diffusion principle. The specially treated hollow fiber filaments feature abundant micropores on their surface, which allow gas permeation while blocking liquid penetration. When liquid flows across the hollow fiber filaments, dissolved gases within the liquid continuously diffuse through the micropores into the inner lumen of the fibers. These gases are then extracted by vacuum suction or purge gas, achieving the goal of eliminating dissolved gases from the liquid.

Special Fiber Arrangement: The degassing membrane adopts hydrophobic hollow fiber filaments made of polymer materials. The filaments are woven into arrays via proprietary processes and wound around a central water distribution tube.

High-Efficiency Structural Design: Adopting a central water distributor combined with flow guide baffles, this design deflects the liquid flow inside the shell side to scour the membrane filaments vertically, instead of the parallel liquid flow against filaments seen in traditional designs, delivering superior gas-liquid mass transfer efficiency.

Ultra-High Degassing Efficiency: Dissolved oxygen in water can be reduced to below 1 ppb, CO₂ to below 1 ppm, and ammonia nitrogen to below 1 ppm.

Extended Service Life: The unique fiber layout greatly enhances resistance to fluid impact and effectively prevents fiber breakage. Fibers maintain fixed spacing without compression, enabling complete and uniform surface hydrophobic treatment for long-lasting hydrophobic performance.

Multiple Material & Size Options: Available with PP, PTFE and other membrane materials, suitable for utility water, photoresist, developer and other process applications. Various module dimensions are offered to match different process flow rates with broad versatility.
