FerroClean is a new kind of continuous production self-cleaning filtering equipment and a special separating/filtering device which can automatically filter and remove particles from liquid or gas.
One of FerroClean's biggest advantages is that it can automatically regenerate filter element without stopping equipment and is widely applied for continuous production, high-temperature operation and under situation where normal metal filtering element is not suitable due to sticky impurities
Filtering principle:
Bigger particles in fluid that passes through the CAC automatic cartridge filter system will be stopped by meshes and form into bigger mounds of impurities. These impurities can stop finer particles and accumulates gradually. When the pressure differential reaches to a set value, the fluid inlet and outlet valves are closed and compressed gas is allowed to enter. The impurities are blown off and the filter is made anew.
Four functions:
Filtration:
It is especially suited for materials with high levels of impurities and viscosity, with the filtration mesh as fine as 1um. They are applicable in natural gas and crude oil refineries as well as amino resin factories.
Separation:
CAC automatic cartridge filter system''''s high-efficiency is uniquely suited for recycling of waste materials with its compressed gas drying system. This cuts down wastage of recyclable materials such as precious metal salts, rare metallic catalysts, activated carbon, titanium and PTA particulates.
Rinsing:
Traditionally, in high-precision chemical industries, the removal of impurities means repeated rinsing and stirring so as to achieve total dissolution. CAC automatic cartridge filter system combines the dual processes of filtration and rinsing to dramatically increase productivity and is suited for inorganic minerals, titanium and other chemical industries.
Thickening:
The system''''s back flushing combines traditional thickening processes and filtration and is extremely effective for thickened additives from centrifugal separation. It is already widely used in the production of PVC and PTA chemicals.
Main features:
Effectively processing material containing a big content of sticky impurities;
Having a high filtering accuracy;
Fully-closed operation to process corrosive and volatile medium which cannot be manually handled;
Dry filter cake can be obtained and the device is suitable for recycling filter cake (water content < 20%) and liquid loss is minimum;
No residue liquid.
