In partnership with national accreditation bodies, Feature-Tec has spearheaded and completed the setting up of an industry-wide standard for filtration �C ''Standards in Filtration Equipment and Processes''. It will be adopted in 10 October 2011.

The past few years saw an exponential increase in the demand for filtration solutions.

Without a national and industry-wide standard, manufacturers and consumers alike do not have a trusted source of reference in filtration solutions.

In this newly adopted national standard,  ''Standards in Filtration Equipment and Processes'', it details the filtration industry''s nomenclature and its meaning, assessment methods and the wording of test reports and in so doing, has provided a trusted source of standardization for all stakeholders to refer to in the market.

''Standards in Filtration Equipment and Processes'' also plays a key role in standardizing the best practices in the industry, including key terms used in the sales and marketing of services and products, before and after-sales, to raise the overall service standards in the industry as well as affiliated industries.

This bodes well for the industry as a whole as it serves as a benchmark to strive for and  to surpass, propelling product innovation, service levels and industry practices.
